Robert Tomilson is Co-Chair of the firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance and the Ai and Emerging Technologies practice groups. Robert represents insurers, reinsurers, insurtechs, brokers, and other intermediaries in corporate transactions and insurance regulatory investigations. He has formed MGAs, MGUs, brokers, agencies, (re)insurance captives, established Barbados and Bermuda insurers as U.S.-based E&S lines carriers, and handled insurance department regulatory investigations across the country. Robert’s reinsurance arbitration experience includes workers comp, property CAT, yearly renewable term (YRT), Jumbo Limits, group disability, professional sports disability, variable annuity, surety, and other products. Robert was an advisor to the American Law Institute’s Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance.
